Joe

Joe is a full size mannequin! I wanted a mannequin for a long time to display some of my costumes, and hopefully I can get a girl mannequin to go with Joe soon. He was pretty cheap $150 with shipping cost, and fits together really easy. He's definitely $150 worth of fun! He has a pretty face, which is good since a lot of my costumes suit a metro-sexual sort of look. He's very light-weight...I had this pre-conception that mannequins were heavy fiberglass, and maybe they used to be, but he's not. He's easy to pick up. Obviously his posability is pretty much zippo, though I can turn his hands whatever way I want so I guess he could hold something, and his waist swivels. I might someday get a mannequin to cut up and attempt to make a giant ball-joint doll out of it, but I don't want to experiment with Joe just yet.
I decided to dress Joe according to the holidays, when there is one, so for upcoming Thanksgiving, I have dressed Joe up in my Native American costume. He has a nice long black wig I got at the costume shop.

And here is Joe dressed like Qui-Gon from episode 1 of star wars. Its actually /my/ Obi-Wan costume, but it looks better on Joe. However the only wig I could find is more of a qui-gon wig, so I guess he's a young hotter Qui-Gon. hehehe. Also my boots would not fit him, so I just made due with some greaves and some slip-ons.
And now Joe has to model my props from Dungeons and Dragons movie. The grey robe was worn by the Queen's advisor, and the cape was worn by Ridley.
And here is Joe with a nice asian wig I made wearing an Original Prop Costume from Shanghai Knights, of one of the boxers.
And here is Joe in my new super cool prop from Dungeons and Dragons movie...the original costume worn by Jeremy Irons at the end of the film! Profion's battle mage outfit! Beside him is the other prop costume I have from D&D, and the hat is not an original prop. Its just a neat wizard hat I have.
