Lord of the Rings

Sweet Dreams Lucas as Aragorn in Fellowship of the Ring. This costume was a commission of which I made two, one for myself, and one for the customer. They are slightly different as this one is the prototype. The costume includes a gray shirt, a brown weathered tunic, brown pants, brown boots, sage coat, backpack, bow, ring and glove, all of which were made by myself. The design for the boots took a long while but they finally turned out! YAY! Overall, I'm very happy with how my little Aragorn turned out.

2nd edition Chris plays the part of Legolas, in Fellowship of the Ring, in my growing cast of characters. His costume consists of undershirt, pants, boots, tunic, quiver, arrows, bow and gauntlets, all of which were made by me. I am getting a lot more confident in what I can do for these dolls.

Galadriel! Finally a Galadriel! This is Sooah playing the role and let me just say, she really enjoyed it too. She loved being bare-foot out in the dying forest, as it were, spreading her elf-magic!

Arwen. My Megu dressed up as Arwen. I really need to do some group shots now!

Next in the line of Lord of the Rings costumes is my reproduction of Elrond, from the council scene in Fellowship of the Ring. His costume has a ton of layers, all done for the sake of accuracy. He wears a shirt, pants, boots, salmon robe, obi, overcoat, and headpiece. Zaries was my natural choice to play the distinguished Elrond. The designs on his robe are hand beaded, and he has freshwater pearls for buttons.

Fourth costume just had to be Boromir, modeled here by my F-28 Dante with an absolutely perfect 3rd edition Lucas wig. The costume has a 'chain' shirt, wine shirt, gauntlets, coat, pants and boots. I think I'll add a shield eventually.

And my Mini-SD just couldn't be left out! So, with a quick wig-change, Akira has become...FRODO!! Silk shirt, vest, coat and pants make up this cute little outfit. And, he's stolen a wig from Hewitt, I believe.
