Mirend is an Avae, a type of magically enhanced and magically bonded human. He is bound to Aloysious.

Before he was Mirend, he was Isinglass, a very emotional artist. But, I no longer had much use for that character, and really wished to make Mirend, so, he got wiped and changed.
